Bucket List: Step Foot In Europe

Yes. As clichéd as it is, I have setting foot in all the continents on my bucket list.

I set foot in Europe on the 29th of September, 2004. I was aged 12 and I was far too young to realize how amazing the trip really was.

I started in the fantastic city of Rome, Italy and I was with my Father and my Sister. We saw the bloody massive colosseum, the amazing sculptures and crystal clear water of the Trevi Fountain. But my favourite, were the beggers. I don’t remember much of the entire trip but I do remember my Dad being physically abused for some spare change by an elderly lady.
Now I don’t know about you guys, but a frail, filthy and old lady trying to pick a fight with a tall, muscular man is bloody funny.

The highlights of Italy were definitely the colosseum, the leaning tower of Pisa, and Pompeii.
Pompeii was AMAZING. If you don’t know what Pompeii is then please check here:

Pompeii was just so ghostly. I remember walking down the main street of Pompeii with the grooves in the road of the horse carts. And the large but empty houses and shops. It was amazing to see a city that was over 1700 years old and, although abandoned, in-tact. One of the other amazing things about Pompeii was the frozen-in-time bodies that were there. The bodies were obviously in pain when they were frozen by the pyroclastic flows from the volcano. It was just amazing to see them.
I recommend Pompeii to ANYONE.

Well, although I made the Bucket List in 2008, I completed the first one in 2004.

One down, a shit load to go.

Dan =)
