Bucket List: Attend The Australian Open

Now, as I used to be heavily into tennis I thought I would put down attending the Aus Open in my bucket list. (That and Wimbledon.) I know it is considered a boring sport to watch, but I think the atmosphere of the Australian open would be amazing.

And I was right.

I attended the Aus open this year with my Mother, my Nan and my Nan’s Hubbie named Ben. And my good mate Jacob.
Now the elderly folk went off and did their own thing every day, so that left me and Jacob to do whatever we wanted for a whole week. Bloody Gold.

The Australian open was fantastic! Like I predicted, there was an amazing atmosphere when we entered Melbourne Park. The outrageous frenchies were hilarious to watch and listen to. And hell, Jacob and I were going for the French players (Gael Monfils, Richard Gasguet) so we started screaming in French too. Don’t know what the frick we were saying, but hey it sounded good. We even got on T.V for cheering like retards on Monfils’ match.
Also, the patriotic Aussie’s were great to be around. Most of them were drunk and all of them were screaming as loud as they could. All wearing green and gold capes and sombreros and passing out in-between courts. They are doing Australia proud that’s for damn sure.

We went to 3 full days of tennis. We saw Hewwitt, S.Williams, Roddick, Tsonga, federer, nadal, a player that reminded us of a Gazelle. All the classics.

The Australian Open was so good, and Jacob and I plan on going again next year with some more mates.

Attending the aus open, Check.

Dan =)
