Arrrrr, Staying the night in a haunted house.
Everyone has read books on it and the population is split right down the middle of people that never EVER want to go near the scenario, and people wanting to do it, badly.
I am the latter of those two.
It is on my bucket list as I have always been fascinated about the creepy shit in this world, and I thought this would be the best way in seeing the Para-freaky.
My mates Ben, Andrew and I stayed in an abandoned water treatment plant on the outskirts of my city. It had been rumored to be haunted and when we saw the place, it was definitely a creepy hunk of shit.
What used to be a 2 story well built structure, had crumbled into a destroyed 1 ½ story war zone. I say 1 ½ because there was now no roof on the second level.
There was an amazing amount of satanic graffiti along the walls and even dead animals under the staircase… No lie.
I had decided to go to this haunted house for my media assignment. I was going to make a documentary on Ghosts and if they are real.
So we had some camera’s there to record anything Para-weird.
During the night sadly, bugger all happened. We even got bored at one point so we went for a walk around the country-side.
Only one thing actually creepy happened to us. It happened to Ben and I when we were eating some chocolate cake we bought for the night (Fuck yes!)
While we were eating the cake, we heard someone RUN UP THE STAIRS of the building.
Now, we were only 3 meters away from the stairs and we both heard it at the same time. We walked around the building a few times to see if we could find anything but we couldn’t. We were both confused about it but it soon left our minds.
The morning came and we hadn’t seen anything. Although we heard someone running down the stairs, we had no footage of it. So my documentary I made was really, really, really boring.
Because this house wasn’t as haunted as I would like, I want to do this again sometime.
When I find a better haunted house that people actually lose their sanity when they walk in, that is when I will do it again.
Dan =)
